Otur is the pen name of Emma Bates, born 1983 in Uddevalla Sweden. Emma has worked with music all her life and played in several different line-ups, among others, The Light Bulb Project which released their notable album “Go” in 2004. TLBP broke up and became Cat5 and Otur.

Oturs debut album “Pepperbox Hill” which received great notices was released in 2006. In connection with this, remix and producer requests have become the main occupation for Otur until recently.

Artists that Otur has remixed and cooperated with are: Håkan Lidbo, Sophie Rimheden, Nicolas Makelberge, Karin Ström, 64 Revolt, Hanna Lovisa, The Honeydrips, Audrey, Tiac, Nouvelle Culture, Compute and several others.
